Lilly and Dara’s love story started like something straight out of a romantic comedy. They met in the lobby of their building as neighbors and hit it off immediately. They started dating in 2016 and got married in May 2017 in a lavish Persian-style wedding in Beverly Hills. Despite their apparent happiness, rumors of trouble in paradise started to circulate soon after.
In August 2019, just over a year after their daughter Alara was born, Lilly and Dara filed for divorce, citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’ The news came as a shock to many, as the couple had seemed so in love just a few months prior. In November 2019, Dara asked the court to drop his divorce case. At their daughter’s first birthday party, he and Lilly were seen kissing. The Shahs of Sunset star then talked about their relationship and made it sound like they might be willing to try again. She told Us Weekly, “It’s not like anything terrible has happened between us that would make it impossible for us to be friends or co-parent or whatever the future holds for us.” She went on to say, “When two people get married, it’s because they have a deep connection and love for each other that brought them to the point where they decided to get married and make vows to each other.” Never say never! Just like everyone else, we don’t know what the future will bring. We’re just going to take it day by day!”
Despite these hopeful words, things were still far from settled between the couple. Before they had even officially reconciled, Lilly announced that she was planning to have another baby in 2020, regardless of whether or not she had a partner. She told Us Weekly, “Becoming a mother has been the most life-changing experience in my life for the better! I’ve never experienced anything harder or more difficult, but at the same time, never something as rewarding as seeing your baby, your flesh and blood. I definitely want more children with or without a man.”

Lilly And Dara Gave A Second Chance To Their love
In February 2020, Lilly put all doubts to rest when she confirmed that she and Dara had reconciled. She uploaded Valentine’s Day wishes for her husband and expressed her love and commitment to him, saying, “We have been through it all, but one thing has always remained the same, our everlasting love.” It seemed like the couple had finally put their troubles behind them.
In January 2022, Lilly announced that she and Dara were expecting their second child, and she shared several Instagram photos of herself, Dara, and their three-year-old daughter, Alara. Lilly’s excitement was palpable as she cradled her baby bump and revealed that she had been feeling unwell for several months but was thrilled to be expecting another child. Finally, in June 2022, Lilly and Dara welcomed their second child together, a son named Kashton Mir.
