“So, if any of the men in my town think I’m intimidated after risking my life over and overdoing what I love and believe in, then this is a reminder for them.”
She went on: “Because I’m addicted to learning, I’ve gone from student to mother, model, racer, writer, community leader, and preservationist throughout my life. A learner is what I consider a dangerous individual because you don’t have to accept anyone else’s word for it.
“I’ve been preparing for this moment for quite some time. Thank you to everyone who assisted me along the journey. #onestepahead”
