Paul Rodgers, the famous rock singer, married Cynthia Kereluk, a former Miss Canada, an exercise physiologist, and an artist, in a surprise wedding outside on their 10th anniversary. Paul Rodgers says that the guys in Lynyrd Skynyrd helped him meet his current wife, Cynthia Kereluk, who is a former Miss Canada and Miss Universe: “About 15 years ago, I was touring with them as a solo artist, and they kept saying, “Wait until we get to Vancouver, we’re going to introduce you to Cynthia.” I kept saying, “Yeah, yeah, yeah,” but they kept saying, “No, no, really,” so I kept saying, “Yeah, yeah, sure.” So, they did, and the rest, as they say, is history. Meet Paul Rodgers’ Wife, Cynthia Kereluk
Cynthia Michele Kereluk is an expert on fitness and exercise in Canada. She is from British Columbia. She became Miss Canada in 1984, and that same year she went on to compete in the Miss Universe pageant. She hosted the exercise show Everyday Workout from 1985 to 2000. After getting her degree from SFU, Kereluk worked as a teacher in Kelowna. Kereluk worked as an aerobics instructor in Edmonton before she entered the pageants.
Kereluk got the Miss Edmonton title. She was Miss Canada in 1984 and competed at Miss Universe in 1984. From 1985 to 2000, she showed her exercise program, Everyday Workout, on Canadian (CFRN) and American (Lifetime cable network) television. At the time, the sale of Everyday Workout to Lifetime was the second largest sale of a TV show made in Edmonton to a U.S. network. Fit to Cook, a cookbook written by Chantal Jakel and Denise Hamilton in 1999, included a fitness program that Kereluk made.

Rodgers married Machiko Shimizu in 1971, and they have two children together, Steve and Jasmine. The two children are also musicians and singers. In the 1990s, they formed a band called Bôa. Rodgers and Shimizu got divorced in 1996.
