Queen Sugar is an American drama TV show that Ava DuVernay created and Oprah Winfrey also works on as an executive producer. The show is based on the 2014 book by American author Natalie Baszile of the same name.
This week, the seventh and last season of Queen Sugar will premiere. On September 13, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, the second episode of the season will air on OWN.
After Sam Landry’s shady blackmail scheme failed, the previous season came to a happy conclusion. Viewers may anticipate the show delving deeper into Hollywood and Vi in the forthcoming season while also hoping for a successful resolution to the Bordelon plot.

Queen Sugar Season 7 Cast
Nova Bordelon, the oldest child of the Bordelon family, is played by Rutina Wesley in the show Queen Sugar. Over the course of the six seasons, Wesley’s performances have been praised by critics. She has won and been nominated for a number of awards and nominations for her work on the show, such as a Black Reel Award and an NAACP Image Award.
Wesley is best known for her role on HBO’s True Blood, not for Queen Sugar. She has also been in Hannibal, The Walking Dead, and The Perfect Guy, among other movies and TV shows. A lot of well-known actors play important supporting roles in the show, including Kofi Siriboe as Ralph Angel Bordelon, Omar Dorsey as Hollywood Desonier, Tina Lifford as Violet Bordelon, Nicholas L. Queen Sugar Season 7 Plot
Even though there isn’t yet an official synopsis for season 7, we can tell from the end of season 6 that there are a lot of storylines to explore in the next episodes. For instance, the new couple Nova and Dominic (McKinley Freeman) should be a lot of fun to watch. In season 6, there was a lot of talk about how the two would get together, so it will be interesting to see what happens next. The Bordelon family is very close to each other. Will Dominic fit in, or feel overwhelmed?
Ralph Angel and Darla’s little girl, who was born last season, should be an interesting change for the couple, especially since they have been having trouble paying their bills lately. Ralph Angel’s crops were poisoned last year, and now his farm is a historical site, so there are a lot of questions about how this will affect his career in the future.

In season 7, viewers can also expect to see Hollywood and Vi’s relationship continue to change, Micah continue to learn how to be an adult, and Blue try to figure out where he fits in as a new big brother.
Even though Charley is not a regular character on the show, viewers can expect to see the end of her story arc in the next few episodes.
Will There Be Season 8 Of Queen Sugar?
The answer is no. One of our favorite drama will end after completing its seven seasons.
