Westley Watende Omari Moore is an American politician, investment banker, author, TV producer, and nonprofit executive. He was born on October 15, 1978. Since 2023, he has been the 63rd governor of Maryland.

Wes Moore married Dawn Flythe on July 6, 2007, one year after moving to Baltimore. They have known each other for a long time and have built a good relationship since they got married. Dawn and Wes Moore have worked together on multiple projects in the past. Six years ago, they both donated to the Maryland Food Bank. She said she felt “privileged” to be able to help and take part in this. In an interview, WJZ Flythe said, “We were really honored that they asked us to be a part of it and to use our voice for something so important. “There are 757,000 people in Maryland who don’t have enough food. Being able to help bring attention to this problem was an offer we couldn’t refuse.”
Dawn has always been there for her husband during his campaign. She just put a picture of herself and Wes on Instagram. Flythe used to be Maryland’s lieutenant governor Anthony G. Brown’s top advisor for government affairs in Annapolis. She had previously graduated from the University of Maryland.
