Travis Barker’s marriage to Shanna Moakler ended when she found out he had been sending inappropriate emails to a number of women.
Barker, the lead singer of the band Blink-182, married Kourtney Kardashian in a surprise wedding in Las Vegas early on Monday morning. In his 2015 memoir, Can I Say, he was honest about cheating on other women?
And the musician, who was married to model Moakler from 2004 to 2008, said that while he was in the hospital recovering from his plane crash in 2008, his then-wife looked through his new laptop while he slept and found out about his affairs.
“Shanna went on my laptop while I was sleeping, and all of my e-mail accounts were open,” he wrote in the book. “She looked at all of my e-mails from the three or four years before the plane crash. She saw messages from about thirteen different girls I had dated in the year before the crash.
“Even though we had been together on and off during that time, she didn’t want to know about it. When we broke up, we each did our own thing, but I would never have told her, “Look, I’m going out with this girl and that girl,” etc. She was the woman who gave birth to my children, so I tried to keep a clean record in case we ever got back together.
“She was curious about a lot of girls and didn’t know anything about others. How everything was out in the open. I was pissed off.”
Barker woke up and Moakler wasn’t next to him. When he looked at his laptop, he quickly found out why she wasn’t there.
“I opened my computer and looked at the emails I had sent, and she had written to every single one of them,” he said.
If they sent me naked pictures, videos, or a dirty email, she told me about all of them. They all got a message that said something like, “F*** you b*, how dare you to mess with my man, this is Shanna, f you.”
Shanna said in the book that she cried when she found out about Barker’s other relationships.
He also talked about his short-lived marriage to Melissa Kennedy, the woman he married in 2001. Barker said that the marriage was also ruined by cheating before they even got married. In 2002, they split up.
“Before I married Melissa, I was always looking for other girls. I would pick them up at strip clubs and anywhere else I could. I wasn’t married yet, even on the night of my bachelor party.
“Once we were married, I made a promise to be good, and I kept it. But I felt like I was making a mistake even as I walked down the aisle.”

But his friend Brett Vann said that the star had a bit of an “orgy” at his bachelor party in a California bar a few days before he got married.
Vann said of Barker, “The next thing you know, this girl started sucking his d*** on the dance floor.” “So they brought him up on stage and said, “Okay, let the strippers start.” Then things got crazy. Twenty strippers were doing their thing on stage, and Travis just sat there and smiled.”
The stage was also filled with other women. Vann said, “Then girls were sucking his d* again.” “There won’t be one girl, two girls, or twenty girls. Every woman wanted to deck-suck him. Two days before his wedding, Travis had the lips of at least thirty to forty different women on his d.”
In the end, Barker ended his marriage to Kennedy because he fell in love with another woman. Barker said, “We hadn’t been married for a year yet, but I was already moving on.”

In another part of his book, Barker wrote about how, while on tour, he spent time in Amsterdam with Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian, the younger sister of his now-wife.
“Kim used to help people organize their closets, and at the time she was Paris’s closet girl,” he said. “She would take Paris’s bags, put them in the closet, unpack them, and put them everywhere Paris could find them.”
Barker thought back to the day the group spent together in the city: “I was having a great time and was happy to tell everyone. I kept sneaking around to look at Kim and telling Lil Chris. “Even if she’s the closet girl, she’s f hot,” he said.”
Barker and Kim Kardashian stayed close after their trip to the Netherlands, but the drummer said that Moakler wasn’t too happy about it.

“Shanna and I started talking to each other again, and we got back together one more time. But I really wanted to see Kim. Shanna found out what was going on, and she poured a drink on Kim at a party hosted by Carmen Electra. I felt terrible.) Kim and I have never touched. It was just not meant to happen.”

Late last year, excerpts from the book were posted on Reddit, and a number of readers said that he reminded them of her bad relationship with Scott Disick, with whom she has three children.
“Wow. I will say that Scott was a million times better to Kourtney than Travis was to Shanna “wrote someone on Reddit. “Shana is probably the way she is now because Travis hurt her and made her this way.
“This man is a serial cheater and s** addict, and I’m sorry, but you’re not making me believe that he’s changed his habits in just a few years. Plus, with the EXCESSIVE PDA and love bombing, he’s doing the same things he did before.
“Kourtney is having a good time right now, but does she really know what’s going to happen? What happens when she doesn’t want to have s** as much anymore or when the novelty wears off? He’s a [red flag] on the move.”
Barker and Kourtney Kardashian have been together since early 2020. Before that, they were friends for a few years. Barker asked her to marry him in October, and they got married in Las Vegas right after the star-studded Grammy Awards.
