Model Chanel Iman and NFL player Sterling Shepard have called it quits.
In March 2018, the former couple married at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. Chrissy Teigen, Gabrielle Union, Odell Beckham Jr., and Joan Smalls were among the celebrities who attended their wedding.
Iman, 31, and Shepard, 28, have had two daughters, Cali Clay and Cassie Snow, since their wedding. The divorce papers state that the former couple will share joint custody of their children.
Cali was born five months after their wedding. Cali’s mother announced her second pregnancy on Instagram about a year after Cali’s birth. Cassie was born in December 2019 to the former couple.
Iman shared a wonderful family photo of herself, Shepard, their new bundle of joy, and Cali lying together in a hospital bed to announce her daughter’s arrival on Instagram.
Cassie not only made her grand entrance into the world, but she also joined social media when her famous parents set up an Instagram account for her. Cali has her own Instagram account, which she started in August of this year.
The supermodel told PEOPLE in November 2018 that she had planned to wait before having another kid, stating, “At the very least, I’ll have to wait a year. I want to take my time with Cali,” “Enjoy this baby,” Shepard remarked before his wife added, “but it wouldn’t be a bad thing if we had two.”
Shepard has had a busy year since tearing his Achilles tendon in the fourth quarter of the Giants’ game against the Dallas Cowboys in December when he was placed on injured reserve.
Iman is a former Victoria’s Secret Angel who has also walked the runways of Gucci, Tom Ford, Burberry, Balenciaga, and other high-end fashion houses.
Iman’s rep confirms to PEOPLE that the model, 27, and New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard, 25, married this weekend at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, barely four months after their waterfront proposal.
Chrissy Teigen, Gabrielle Union, Odell Beckham Jr., Shanina Shaik, and Joan Smalls were among the celebrity guests, according to Brides.com. Jourdan Dunn, another model, was even a bridesmaid!
According to Brides, the Victoria’s Secret Angel enlisted famous stylist Anita Patrickson to assist her in finding her dream gown for the big day on short notice. In the end, she chose a Zuhair Murad bridal gown with a cape. BOSS tuxedos were chosen by Shepard and his groomsmen.

Iman told Brides exclusively, “I never actually envisioned wearing something like that for my wedding.” “However, as soon as we put it on, we all adored it!” It was very stylish and unique, yet it also had a vintage feel to it.”
Brides said that Iman changed her wardrobe for the reception, swapping into another Zuhair Murad gown.
According to Brides, “the pink in the gown and the deep V-neckline really appealed to my more girly side.” “It also included the rose gold theme, which I wear all the time and is the color of my engagement and wedding rings!”
According to Brides, the rose gold theme continued into the reception decor, which included rose gold chairs and menus. According to the publication, the centerpieces were constructed of white roses with blush accents, and plenty of candles added to the romantic ambiance.
Iman told Brides, “I wanted to make it as vintage as possible.” “I wanted a design that I wouldn’t be able to look at in 20 years and wonder what I was thinking!”
Shepard proposed to Iman just one day after her 27th birthday in December, surrounded by candles on a gorgeous waterfront location. The happy couple shared the wonderful news on Instagram right afterward, along with a photo of Shepard down on one knee, placing the engagement ring on Iman’s finger as she smiled.

In November 2016, the couple met at the birthday party of former New York Giants star Victor Cruz and began dating soon after.
Iman tells PEOPLE behind the scenes at the photo session for New Era’s Official NFL Sideline Collection in New York City last July, “When I first saw him, he was in a suit and looked very sharp.”
“I approached her and got her a drink, and that was the end of it,” Shepard recalled. Iman posted a romantic video collage on Instagram this past Valentine’s Day, replete with photos of the couple that recorded their whirlwind courtship.
