Subsequently, on September 19, 2023, a premiere date of October 31, 2023, was disclosed. Additionally, it was unveiled on the same day that Landon Cider, the winner of Season 3, would be joining the judges’ panel as a rotating judge.

The duo expressed excitement about the upcoming season, emphasizing their return to the show’s roots, focusing on the competition, the exceptional cast, and the awe-inspiring looks created each week.

This includes director Mike Flanagan (known for Netflix’s Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass), actor David Dastmalchian (featured in Oppenheimer, Dune, Suicide Squad), author Tannanarive Due, writer and director Kevin Smith, musician Jazmin Bean, and Scream star Matthew Lillard.

The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula, conceived by the Boulet Brothers and produced by Boulet Brothers Productions, originated from their club event and nightlife pageant. Premiering its debut season on October 31, 2016, initially as a seven-episode pilot series on Hey Qween! YouTube channel, it was later picked up by Canadian network OutTV.
Season 2 launched on October 31, 2017, airing on various platforms globally. The groundbreaking third season, featuring the first drag king contestant, Landon Cider, premiered on Amazon Prime on August 27, 2019, before moving to Netflix on October 31, 2019.
