Brandon Staley is the head coach of the NFL team Los Angeles Chargers. Before 2020, he was the defensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams and a helper coach for the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos. Staley was the starting quarterback for the Dayton Flyers from 2003 to 2004, when he was a student at the University of Dayton. During those two years, the team went 16–5 with Staley at the helm. In 2005, he played his last game for the Mercyhurst College football team.

Brandon Staley’s Wife Amy Ward Is A Former Volleyball Player
On June 25, 2011, Brandon Staley and Amy Ward Staley got married at St. Cyprian Church in Perry, Ohio, which is where Brandon grew up. Amy’s full name is Amanda Kristin Ward, and she was born to John Ward and Deborah Ward on October 31, 1985. She went to Sycamore High School and Northern Illinois University.
At Northern Illinois University, she got her bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Since they were young, the two had been friends because they both liked sports. Amy used to play volleyball when she was in school, and her volleyball skills helped her get a scholarship. Also, Amy taught kids in Hutchinson, Kansas, who were in the first grade. They have three children together. Colin, Will, and Grant Staley are the names of the three children.

Inside Amy And Brandon’s Relationship
In an interview, Amy Ward Staley said that she was about two months away from getting her degree in education when she met her future husband, Brandon Staley. He was a graduate assistant coach for NIU football. Even though they were both in their early twenties in 2007, she could tell that Brandon was a man with a plan.
“When I first met him, he told me, ‘I’m going to be an NFL coach.’ So I said, “That’s a great idea.” Amy laughed as she thought back. “Brandon looked at me and said, ‘No, I’m serious, and this is how I’m going to do it.'” I could tell he had the drive, intelligence, and work ethic to make it happen. He is sure of what he wants. I had never seen these things before, so I was immediately drawn to them.

Brandon’s job as head coach keeps him away from home a lot, but Amy only thinks about their kids. “I don’t travel with the team, and I try to limit the number of business trips that require me to get on a plane. We don’t have a babysitter or any family here, so I’m the only one who takes care of the kids. So Brandon is free to do his job. We make the most of the time we do have together.” Living by their values gives the Staleys room to set new goals.
