Meet Bret Baier’s Wife, Amy Baier
Amy Baier is from Chicago. She and her two brothers, Timothy and John Paul, and twin brother, Daniel, grew up in the suburb of Barrington. Amy and her husband, children, and parents have lived in the United States their whole lives.
Amy said that she is a “tough hockey mom” who always goes to her son Daniel’s games. Amy told Naples Illustrated, “I’m a very involved sports mom.” “They play golf a lot. Paul tries to play every day, and Daniel plays three times a week because he also plays travel hockey and basketball. Sports go on and on around here.” Amy is a good tennis player in her own right. “As a kid, I was always competitive and athletic. I was always around boys and sports. It helped me get ready for my own boys. They are straightforward and nice.”

Bret Is Happily Married To His Wife Amy
According to Naples Illustrated, When Amy worked in Chicago, Bret’s best friend was dating her best friend. Those friends thought that Amy and Bret would get along well and decided that they should meet. Before they looked at each other, Bret and Amy weren’t so sure. Amy was happy with her new life in Chicago and didn’t want to date someone on the East Coast from afar. Bret was always working, so he thought he didn’t have time for a relationship. But fate pulled them together, so Bret asked Amy to fly to D.C. to see a Rolling Stones concert with him, and she said yes. Amy says, “I didn’t have any expectations, but when I got back on the plane I thought I’d met someone very special.” And when Bret drove me to the airport, he told his best friend, “I’m going to marry her.” After two years of dating long distances, they decided to get married, and a power couple was born.
Bret Baier and Amy Baier got married on October 9, 2004. They have been married for sixteen years and have two kids together, Paul Francis Baier and Daniel Baier. Paul was born with five congenital heart defects. As Baier explains, “his heart was basically pumping the wrong way, and we didn’t know that before birth.”

Baier wrote a book “Special Heart: A Journey of Faith, Hope, Courage, and Love” dedicated to his wife and family. Baier wrote in the book about his oldest son’s heart condition, “For Amy—the most amazing wife, mother to our children, and co-anchor in life.”The love between the two people could only have grown stronger as time went on.
