Hayden Randle Hurst, also known as Hayden Hurst, is a National Football League tight end with the Cincinnati Bengals. He was born on August 24, 1993.
He attended South Carolina University before being taken in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens. Hurst went to school in Jacksonville, Florida, at The Bolles School. He was on the football and baseball teams for the Bulldogs. He got his diploma in 2012. In the 2012 MLB draft, the Pittsburgh Pirates picked Hurst in the 17th round.

Hurst played for the Pirates for two years before joining the football team at South Carolina. Hurst made one appearance as a pitcher in the minor leagues. In one-third of an inning, he walked five batters and threw two wild pitches. Hurst stopped playing baseball because he got “the yips.”
Hurst played in all 12 of South Carolina’s games in 2015 as a true freshman. He caught eight passes for 106 yards.

As a sophomore in 2016, Hurst took part in all 13 games and caught at least one pass in each. Against Kentucky, he caught a career-high seven passes. Hurst caught 48 passes for a total of 616 yards. The following spring, he was given a scholarship.
On March 16, 2020, the Ravens agreed to trade Hurst and a fourth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft to the Atlanta Falcons. On March 18, 2022, Hurst made a deal with the Cincinnati Bengals to play for them for one year.
