Jay Cutler said this week that his divorce didn’t hurt his bank account much. He joked, “When the settlement came through, I threw a party.”
During an interview with Clay Travis for his “Uncut with Jay Cutler” podcast, Cutler laughed about his breakup with Cavallari. He said that he thinks he did just fine when he and the former “Hills” star broke up.
First of all, Cutler said on the podcast, “I don’t know what I can say.” “I don’t know if I made money, I just didn’t… [I] did fine.”
But Cutler made it clear that Cavallari, who now runs a very successful jewelry business, also didn’t lose her behind in the divorce.
Cutler said on the podcast, “I don’t think divorce is a good idea for anyone” (the full episode air Wednesday at midnight ET). “But it turned out okay. It turned out well for both Kristin and me. What it is, is.”
Jay married Cavallari in 2013, seven years after the Denver Broncos picked him. It is said that he made more than $120 million in the NFL. Cavallari, on the other hand, is said to be worth around $30 million.
After they said they were getting a divorce in 2020, they fought about money (specifically money to buy another home), but it looks like everything got worked out to everyone’s satisfaction.
