Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer, who played Rachel Green and Ross Gellar in the US comedy Friends, were one of television’s most popular on-screen couples.
Their famed line ‘We were on a break’ left viewers arguing about whether it’s okay to date other people while you’re ‘on a break,’ because taking a break doesn’t indicate you’ve broken up.
Ross, on the other hand, regarded it as a split break and hooked up with Chloe, a girl from the Copyshop, much to Rachel’s chagrin.
While their characters have an on-again, off-again relationship throughout the series, they renew their romance in the finale.
And nostalgia for the couple returned when the cast of Friends met for the first time in 20 years for Friends: The Reunion.

David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston are not dating, according to his representatives, who disputed allegations that he is ‘getting closer to Jennifer Aniston following their reunion on Friends: The Reunion.
“After the reunion, it became evident that reminiscing over the past had woken up sentiments for both of them and the spark they’d always had to bury was still there,” a source told Closer magazine.
However, a representative for David has rejected the news, claiming that the romance rumor is false.
Back in June, the couple admitted that they had a secret crush on one other while filming in the 1990s. During the James Corden-hosted reunion program, David admitted, “The first season, I had a serious crush on Jen.” We were both crushing hard on each other at one time.”
Friends premiered 27 years ago in 1994, with the first episode airing in 1994, and continued for ten seasons. But they never met off-screen during that time.
“It was like two ships sailing by,” David continued, “because one of us was constantly in a relationship, and we never crossed that boundary.” That was something we respected.”
Jennifer recounted, “I remember saying to David one day, ‘It’s going to be such a disappointment if the first time you and I actually kissed is going to be on national television.'” And, indeed, we kissed for the first time in that coffee shop. But all of our adoration and love for each other was focused on Ross and Rachel.”
The couple admitted to cuddling on the sofa, with David recalling, “I went back on the very first year or two, when we would have breaks from practice, there were occasions when we would snuggle on the couch.”
“We’d spoon and fall asleep on the couch,” Jennifer agreed.

Last summer, a tabloid said that the two people who used to be on-screen lovers were giving their relationship a second chance.
Last year about this time, New Idea said that Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer were finally “doing what they felt.” After saying at the HBO reunion that they both had crushes on each other while they were working on Friends, sources said that they were finally going out on a date. “When you see them together now, it’s clear that they were meant to be together,” a source said.
The article says that after the reunion, Aniston and Schwimmer talked all the time, and things were starting to get serious. “If their dates and conversations keep going well, I’m sure David would think about living in both LA and New York,” the insider thought. “They made a lot of money from this reunion, so money isn’t much of an issue.”
Then, Aniston put an end to the rumors in a strong way. Late last year, she said that after so much time had gone by, she and Schwimmer had become like brothers and sisters. She even said that the rumors were strange and added, “I couldn’t believe that.” Like, for real? “Yes, that’s my brother.”
She did say that she could understand why fans want them to get back together. “I get it, though,” Aniston said. “It just shows how much people want their dreams and hopes to come true.”
It seems likely that the tabloid just rode the interest in the almost-couple. Even though fans probably won’t give up on Ross and Rachel dating in real life, it looks like romance is out of the question for now.
Is David Schwimmer married?
David Schwimmer married Zoe Buckman, a British artist, and waiter, in 2010 when he was 44 and she was 25. After his love for Jennifer Aniston faded, the couple began dating in 2007.
Details of their secret wedding were kept concealed for more than a decade after they kept their relationship covert for four months, but news broke when musician Peter Andre recently revealed that he sang at their wedding.
“I know everyone is eager about the ‘Friends’ reunion, but I’ve never watched a single episode!” he stated. Surprisingly, I did sing at David Schwimmer’s wedding in 2010.”

Is Jennifer Aniston married?
