Jeremy Pena was born on September 22, 1997, in the Dominican Republic, in the city of Santo Domingo. He plays infield for the MLB’s Houston Astros.

Pena signed with Houston and made his professional debut with the Tri-City ValleyCats of the Class A Short Season New York-Penn League. In 36 games, he hit.250 with one home run and ten RBIs and was named an All-Star.
Pena started the year with the Class A Midwest League’s Quad Cities River Bandits, where he was named an All-Star. In June, he was moved up to the Class A-Advanced Carolina League’s Fayetteville Woodpeckers. Between the two teams, he played in 109 games and hit.303/.385/.440 with seven home runs, 54 RBIs, and 20 stolen bases.
