Kellyanne Conway said that she and her husband, George Conway, who is a vocal Trump critic, are not wearing their wedding rings.
In an interview with Gayle King and Jeff Glor on CBS Mornings on Tuesday, the senior advisor to former President Donald Trump talked about her marriage. She was there to talk about her new book, “Here’s the Deal.”
During the interview, King read Conway the passage “The person you thought had your back ended up stabbing you in the back.”
Conway said, “Isn’t that a shame?” “I think that’s something women can understand, but this was the next level. I’ll say this, too. George Conway did not make his promises to Donald Trump. He doesn’t have to be loyal to a certain political party or president. That was important to me, and I’ll always remember it.”
In her book, the woman who used to work for Trump as an advisor said that her marriage was strained by her husband’s open dislike of her boss.
Her lawyer husband often used social media to say bad things about Trump, who he introduced to Kellyanne Conway before he became president. She had even written that George “cheated by tweeting.”
In the interview, she said, “George changed his mind about President Trump.” “He can do that if he wants to, but it’s not like George to be so loud in public.”

After that, King asked, “Did your marriage last?” Kellyanne Conway tried to avoid answering the question by saying that she spent Memorial Day with her kids and husband, George Conway.
“Parents who are fighting still hang out with their ex-spouses,” King said.
Glor added to the conversation by saying that Kellyanne Conway wasn’t wearing her wedding band at the moment.
“Neither does he,” she said.
