Lafayette Masteen-Greenfield Is Also Dedicated To Public Service
In her official biography, it says that her husband’s name is Lafayette. They have two children together: Lindsay and Lafayette II.
Lafayette, her husband, seems to keep his online life private, so not much else is known about him. But their son, Lafayette II Greenfield, has a Twitter account where he sometimes writes about his family and other things.
Lafayette Greenfield, who is married to Linda Thomas Greenfield, is also dedicated to public service. They both worked as Foreign Service Officers for the State Department for their whole careers.
Their son says that she met the man she is now married to in this study abroad program. While he was in college, Lafayette Greenfield II kept a blog online. In the section about himself, he wrote that his parents met in Liberia in the 1970s. Greenfield II said that he was a “foreign service brat” as well. He wrote that he was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but he also spent time growing up in The Gambia, Kenya, Pakistan, and Switzerland. Lindsay, his sister, posted a family photo from the 1990s on Facebook.

According to Heavy, Lindsay is a Foreign Service Specialist based in La Paz, Bolivia. Lindsay’s public account showed a few photos of her travels around the central South American country.
During her elementary school years, Lindsay went to the International School of Kenya. In the mid-1990s, her mother lived in Nairobi. Collège du Léman, a boarding school in Switzerland, was also on Lindsay’s list.
Thomas-son, Greenfield’s Lafayette Masteen Greenfield II, was born in August of 1986. In a blog post from 2009, he said, “I was named after my father, and my personality is just like his. Everyone calls me “Deuce,” which my mother thought was a more interesting way to call me “junior.” Thomas-Greenfield actually called her son “Deuce” in her opening statement before the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in May 2008.
