Jennifer Rene “Jen” Psaki was the White House Communications Director from April 1, 2015, to January 20, 2017 (after Jennifer Palmieri and before Sean Spicer). On January 20, 2021, she became the White House Press Secretary (succeeding Kayleigh McEnany preceding Karine Jean-Pierre).
Psaki was born in 1978 in Stamford, Connecticut. In 2001, she worked on the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for US Senate and Tom Vilsack for Governor. She was Joseph Crowley’s director of communications from 2005 to 2006, and she was Barack Obama’s traveling press secretary during the 2008 election. Psaki was Deputy Press Secretary in 2009, Deputy Communications Director from 2009 to 2011, Spokeswoman for the State Department from 2013 to 2015, and White House Communications Director from 2015 to 2017.
After that, she worked as a CNN political commentator. In November 2020, President-elect Joe Biden chose Psaki to be the White House Press Secretary when he takes office in January 2021. On May 5, the White House said she would be leaving her job on May 13 and named Karine Jean-Pierre as her replacement.
Now Jen Psaki is back in the news because she has started a new job and posted a picture of her NBCUniversal work badge on Twitter.

Is Jen Psaki Pregnant? Does She Have Kids?
Well…the answer is no. It seems like Jen is not pregnant at all. Neither the woman nor her husband confirmed the pregnancy news. However, she has two kids with her husband.
Psaki says on Twitter that she is the “Mom of two people under the age of five.”
In August of last year, she tweeted that she was “getting ready for a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old to burst in” while she was doing a CNN interview from home.
Who Is Jen Psaki’s Husband?
Jen Psaki is married to Gregory Mecher. Mecher is a 45-year-old Democratic political aide who was born in September 1976. Before he got engaged in politics, Mecher grew up in Ohio and went to Elder High School, a Cincinnati all-boys Catholic prep school.
He started his political career when he was a student. He was the “student representative to the Board of Regents” before getting an internship with Kentucky Congressman Ken Lucas.
Mecher met Psaki for the first time in 2006. Both of them were working for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee at the time.
Heavy later said that Mecher fell in love with his wife after she gave him the wrong directions to a political event over the phone in 2006.

“After being married to her for years, I can say with certainty that this is not one of her strong points or directions,” Mecher said. “By the time I got there, I didn’t know who the heck this person was.”
The Washington Post says that he didn’t get angry about the mistake and forgave Psaki right away because he thought she was pretty. On May 8, 2010, the beautiful couple tied the sacred knot.
