As Lia delves into her past story, she reveals that at the age of 17, she moved to Los Angeles to chase her dreams but quickly became entrenched in the party scene, engaging in unhealthy behaviors such as drinking, drug use, and partying on a regular basis. Things took a turn for the worse when someone she loved tried to strangle her.
Lia then shares that at 18, she attempted suicide for the first time. After seeking help and moving back home to San Diego for therapy, she eventually returned to L.A., but unfortunately fell back into her old habits of partying, filming, drinking excessively, smoking weed, and experimenting with drugs and relationships. Despite the challenges she faced, Lia ultimately found the strength to turn her life around and is now sharing her story in hopes of helping others.
At the age of 20, Lia got involved in a car accident that should have been fatal, but she miraculously survived. The stress and trauma from the accident, combined with her previous unhealthy behaviors, took a toll on her mental health and led to multiple hospitalizations due to drug-induced psychosis.
In an effort to turn her life around, Lia entered rehab at the age of 21 and moved to the beach after completing treatment. Unfortunately, she relapsed and ended up in an abusive relationship. Despite the danger, Lia stayed with her boyfriend out of fear.

As if things couldn’t get any worse, Lia received the devastating news during this difficult time that Capitol Records was dropping her as an artist. In 2019, Lia had even been behind the bars several times. She was exploited by her producer and later engaged in heavy drug use with a new partner, leading to a relapse into psychosis. After her boyfriend’s suicide, Lia sought treatment in rehabilitation centers multiple times, but her reckless behavior prevented her from maintaining her sobriety.
Currently, Lia lives with her partner Charlie in a town in England. She has dedicated herself to sobriety for the past 10 months and enjoys expressing herself through writing, painting, and making music.
