After getting married to her current husband, she said, “I was scared no one would ever love me again. I felt ruined,” she says. “But in the relationship, I’m in now, he’s so supportive and never tries to put a limit on me.”
It’s been a long road, but French says she wouldn’t change a thing about her life. Details About Erin French’s Marriage With Her First Husband
Tom French, Erin’s first husband, works as a professional boatbuilder. He was married to Erin from 2006 to 2013. In late 2011, the two of them opened the first Lost Kitchen. The restaurant was basically run out of their apartment in Belfast, Maine, and it was a very stressful time for Erin in particular. She became addicted to Xanax and Ambien. She told People, “I was hoarding them and trying to get multiple prescriptions from one doctor or another because it was the only thing that made me feel OK.”

In 2013, when Erin was in recovery and on her journey to becoming sober, she found out that Tom had secretively closed the restaurant and even changed the locks. “It was kind of like waking up when you realize all your fears were real,” she said. “Because you want to believe, like, ‘Well, he might be a good person.'”
Erin moved to a cabin on her parents’ land because of her bitter divorce and the fight over who would take care of her son, Jaim. Luckily, she pulled herself out of those hard times.
