Wesley Britt was born on November 21, 1981, and he used to play offensive tackle in American football. In 2005, the San Diego Chargers picked him in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. He played football in college at Alabama. He went to high school in Cullman.
Britt decided to go to the University of Alabama in 2000 because they offered her a scholarship. Britt was a starter for the rest of his time at Alabama. He started 46 games during the 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 seasons, after resting out the first year to get experience. After breaking his leg against Tennessee in 2003, he did miss the final four games of his junior year.

As a senior in 2004, he was named to the first team of All-Americans by the CFN, the third team by the Associated Press, and the second team by Rivals.com. He was also named to the first team of All-Southeastern Conference by the AP and the league’s coaches in 2002, 2003, and 2004, and he was on the 2004 SEC Good Works Team. In 2004, Wesley won the Jacobs Blocking Trophy as the SEC’s best offensive lineman.
Wesley joined the NFL for the first time in 2005, when the San Diego Chargers picked him in the fifth round of the draft. He played for the New England Patriots after that. He played in the big league for four years and was famously on the New England Patriots team that won the Super Bowl XLII in 2008.
Before that, he played offensive line at the University of Alabama, where he was named to the first team of All-SEC and the third team of AP All-Americans.
