Michelle Gass Will Be New CEO Of Levi’S
Michelle Gass is leaving her job as CEO of Kohl’s Corp (KSS.N) to take over as CEO of Levi Strauss & Co (LEVI.N). This comes as activist investors continue to call for management changes at the struggling department store chain.
Kohl’s announced on Tuesday that it would make Tom Kingsbury, a director nominated by hedge funds Macellum Advisors and Ancora Holdings, the interim CEO starting on December 2. This made Kohl’s shares go up by 10% on Tuesday. The company also said it would make more money than Wall Street expected in the third quarter.
