Shirley Ballas has stated her desire to marry lover Danny Taylor this holiday season.
Danny has been dating the dancer for a few months, and she has admitted that she would want nothing more than for him to propose.
She told Woman & Home, “I’d love Danny to ask me to marry him this Christmas.”
“I’m really looking forward to my first Christmas with Danny. We’ve got the panto [Jack and the Beanstalk at the Darlington Hippodrome] as a warm-up. Despite getting along well, we’ll learn more about each other. He has really altered my perspective on Christmas.”
Shirley recently spoke out against the show’s shocking dismissal of Dev Griffin and Dianne Buswell a week ago, stating that the viewers have just as much say as the judges.
“This is by far the best skill level series I’ve ever seen,” she stated. “It makes it tough for someone to go home every week.”

When she tweeted that her panto co-star Daniel was a “really hilarious handsome dude,” the Strictly judge implied she had started dating again. During their time on the Christmas show, the two were also photographed getting cozy in selfies.

Shirley Ballas is a British Latin dancer who has won numerous competitions, earning her the moniker “The Queen of Latin.”
Her mother Audrey and brother David raised her in Wallasey, North Yorkshire. When she was seven years old, she took her first ballroom dance class in her neighborhood hall.
