Chriselle Lim filed for divorce from her husband Allen Chen in Los Angeles, California, in the spring of 2021.
Allen Chen has done a great job of staying out of the spotlight and letting his soon-to-be-ex-spouse get all the attention. We don’t know much about Chen, except that he and Lim met through mutual friends in 2008. On August 8, 2012, they got married. Lim and Chen broke up at the beginning of 2021. Their two little girls live with Lim in her home in Los Angeles, California.

Chriselle Lim is a Korean American who was born in Texas on April 10, 1985. She is also known as Chriselle Lim So-Jung and Christie Sojung Lim. She was a child when she lived in Seoul, South Korea, for four years.
Lim studied fashion design and merchandising and has a strong business sense. She went into fashion because her mother did. As an Asian entrepreneur who became a YouTube and digital mega-influencer, Lim has a presence on many social media sites where she blogs, vlogs, models, and sells products.
Lim is best known for The Chriselle Factor, the website for the company she started in 2011. She tells her followers about fashion, beauty (she has a page for Korean Beauty), living, traveling and being a mom. They can “shop the look” for the designer bobby pins, sunglasses, scarves, handbags, dresses, and shoes that Lim wears and then links to Prada, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and other stores. Lim’s first perfume, “Missing Person” by Phlur, came out in March of this year. Some reports say that Lim has a net worth of between “$1M and $5M.” Check out her Instagram account. As of April 13, 2022, 1.4 million people are following her.
Chriselle Lim And Allen Chen Divorce
On April 19, Lim filed her Petition for Divorce with a Minor Child. Chen filed his answer on May 18, which was a month later. Christie Sojung Lim v. Allen Y. Chen (Case No. 21STFL04406) was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, and family law hearings were held at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in LA. Dennis F. Hernandez, Lynn H. Scaduto, and Michelle L. Kazadi are the judges who are in charge of the case. The case is still going on.

Both sides have experienced family lawyers working for them. Marci Robyn Levine is Lim’s lawyer. She is a partner at Summers, Levine, and Kretzmer, LLP. Since 1990, Levine has worked as a family lawyer. Diana Pamela Zitser is a Certified Family Law Specialist and the founder of Zitser Family Law Group. She is Chen’s lawyer. As of the time this post was made, neither lawyer had made any public statements about the case. If that changes, we’ll try to keep this page up to date.
Chriselle Lim And Allen Chen Legal Issues
The court gave temporary custody of the child to the parents on July 26. (Stipulation & Order Re: Pendente Lite Custody). And on August 13, the judge made decisions about child support, spousal support, and paying the lawyer’s fees. The commissioner for the court was chosen on October 26.
Even though the parties shared financial information with a declaration of income and expenses, the size of the marital estate and how assets and debts are going to be split are not known at this time.
Did the couple have a valid agreement before they got married? If we assume they didn’t, then they may have to split up a lot of their assets when they talk about a property settlement. We know that Lim started her website in 2011 and that the next year she got married. Lim’s husband Chen was with her when she first started her business, so it’s likely that he owns a part of her business successes as well.

We don’t know yet who asked for spousal support at this point. Maybe they did both.
