Ashley Darby and Michael tied the knot on May 15, 2014, after dating for about two years. Fans of RHOP might very well remember that Michael’s second marriage was the one that lasted almost eight years. Michael got a divorce from his first wife in 2010 after 20 years of marriage. Michael and the mystery woman have two children together.
During the early stages of their relationship, Ashley and Michael went on many romantic dates and posted photos on Instagram that would make anyone swoon.
But, like most couples, the two of them ran into problems while they were together. In the summer of 2021, Michael was accused of cheating on his girlfriend after a picture of him with an unknown woman at a nightclub went viral on the internet. In May of 2020, a video of Michael with another woman went viral and drew a lot of attention. In 2019, raw footage of Michael’s face after an incident with a cameraman working on the show caused a lot of debate.
“When Michael and I said “I do” almost eight years ago, we were excited to spend every day together from then on. Sadly, that’s not how things are right now.”

Ashley Darby And Michael Darby’s Divorce Details
Before the start of season 7 of RHOP, the couple called it quits for good. Ashley said they were no longer together after “almost 8 magical years” of marriage.
“We have decided to separate. We are aware that there will be many speculative views as to why we have made this decision,” she said in a statement in April 2022. “People will be quick to assume that the causes were too much intrusion by reality TV into the most personal parts of our lives, age gap issues, cultural problems, or child-rearing differences. Pieces of all these may have affected our pure love for each other, but no one reason is the root cause of our mutual decision to go our separate ways.”
Ashley said that she and Michael were just in “very different stages” of their lives and had “very different goals” for the future.
“We both want the other to be truly happy and fulfilled, but we feel like we can’t help each other get there.”
Ashley, who had sons Dean in July 2019 and Dylan in March 2018 with the 62-year-old real estate developer, went on to say that even though her and Michael’s marriage was not perfect, they were happy “Even though our romantic relationship is over, we’ll always love and respect each other. We also know that the only way to be truly happy is to keep working together and put everything we have into raising our two beautiful boys, Dean and Dylan. Because they were made out of love, they will always feel loved and cared for.”
During Season 5, Ashley said that she and Michael had a prenuptial agreement that “ended after five years of marriage.” As the cameras were rolling, she gave him a postnuptial agreement and said in a confessional, “Now, if we get a divorce, I’ll get half of our assets.”

“I think it would be good for us to have a postnuptial agreement because it would spell out what I was guaranteed to get — no arguing, no fighting — and would speed up the process if we ever got a divorce.”
Michael said at the time that he was willing to look at the paperwork.
He told Ashley, “I want to make sure you’re happy and that I take care of you in the right way.” “Right now, I think that’s important.”
