When he started dating Taylor Ann Green in 2020, though, his co-stars and fans thought he might have changed. It was Rose’s longest public relationship up to that point, but the two reportedly broke up already, and it sounds like they did so for very Rose-like reasons.

The Southern Charm star Shep and Taylor Ann Green were thought to be dating for the first time in March 2020, almost two months before they confirmed their relationship on Instagram.
Taylor tried to set the record straight about her relationship with the South Carolina native less than a month before they went public with their relationship. “Shep and I are great friends, and we love spending time and laughing together,” she told Us Weekly in April. She also said she was “looking forward” to seeing what season 7 of the reality show would bring.
Taylor has posted and then deleted a few photos of herself with her new boyfriend before she seems to have confirmed that she and Shep are together. “Shep looks like Stu from Rugrats,” she wrote with a photo of her kissing Shep on the cheek on March 6.

Why Did Shep Rose And Taylor Ann Green Decide To Break Up?
So, what’s the story behind the breakup? Apparently, it all went downhill due to commitment issues. Insiders who told People about the breakup said that the 42-year-old is still hesitant to settle down with just one woman.
Shep has a real issue with monogamy and refused to commit to Taylor, telling her that he doesn’t want to be with just one person and change his lifestyle.
It’s not clear if this information suggests that Shep Rose cheated on his longtime girlfriend, which led to the breakup, or if he just told her he wanted to “sow his wild oats” before his cheating became a problem. Rose was honest about making out with another woman while he was still dating Taylor Ann Green at the shocking Season 7 reunion of the show last year.
They got over it in the end, but this report makes it sound like the Bravo star’s old habits caught up with him again.
“I really like Taylor. Landon Clements, a former cast member of the show, told Us in June, “I’ve gotten to spend time with them, and I just hope [Shep] doesn’t mess it up.” “I hope they can make it. I think she would be great for him.”
Madison LeCroy and Venita Aspen also talked about Rose and Green’s relationship and said that it didn’t seem like it was mutual.

Green told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that before she broke up with Rose, she was living in her “own place.”
She said at the time, “We are not together.” “What’s being shown is not the straw that broke the camel’s back, but nine months later, he still thinks that everything that’s being shown is true.”
The ex-couple got back together for a promotional video with Olivia Flowers. “I swear this is real laughter,” the owner of Commodore wrote on an Instagram photo of the three of them.
