Allison Sharlene Feaster-Strong, who was born on February 11, 1976, is an American former professional basketball player. Feaster-Strong played in the Women’s National Basketball Association from 1998 to 2008 for the Los Angeles Sparks, Charlotte Sting, and Indiana Fever. On August 8, 2016, she retired from the basketball.
Allison Feaster is a married woman. Feaster-Strong is married to Danny Strong, her high school sweetheart and college basketball player at North Carolina State University. They have a daughter, Sarah, who was born in February 2006. During the WNBA’s off-season, they both played in Europe. After a few years of playing in France, they became French citizens. Danny Strong is a basketball player from Great Falls, South Carolina, who used to play for NCSU. Coach Strong played for the NCSU Wolfpack until 1997. After that, he played professional basketball in Europe. In May 2012, after 15 years of playing professionally, he retired.
During his professional basketball career, he was an all-star four times in the French National Basketball League, led his team to victory in the 2005 French Cup Championship, was the all-star MVP in the Portuguese National Basketball League, and was the team captain for nine years on different teams.
