Josh And Brittany Met Each Other When They Were 8 Years Old
According to PEOPLE, In an episode of Kelly Stafford’s podcast “The Morning After,” Williams said that how she started dating Allen was “a long story.” Williams said that she and Allen met when they were both 8 years old. She said that her family met the Allen family because Allen’s older sister danced at the same studio as Williams in Fresno.
Williams said that because she and Allen were the same age, their mothers used to joke that they were going to get married someday. She also talked about a romantic thing Allen did for her at a Fresno Grizzlies game after he caught a home run ball. Williams said, “He got the ball, and it was a big deal.” “He gave me the ball when he came. We were probably about nine years old at this point. And I remember being so embarrassed and saying, “Oh my gosh, cooties!” That was our first big memory of each other.”
Williams said, “He stopped talking to me for a year, but at the same time I was like, ‘OK, I get it, things just aren’t happening for us right now.’ Williams was at Fresno State and Allen was at Wyoming. Allen texted Williams, “I messed up.” Williams said she was “kinda mad” about the message, but she also “kinda liked it.” She was dating someone else at the time, but they broke up because she knew Allen was the right person for her.
