Ruben and McCants went to court to get a divorce, citing their differences as the reason. In January 2012, their divorce was finalized after two months. A report from TMZ in April 2012 said that McCants said she was forced to sign the prenuptial agreement unfairly, but the judge did not believe her. After the final decision was made, court records showed that Studdard did not have to pay McCants any spousal support or alimony. And since they didn’t have any kids together, child support wasn’t an issue.
